Only one side of the panel is used. The loaning itself is free. The 48 panels are in 24 pairs (1a, 1b etc) unfortunately also called panels on the A4 list overleaf and on the website. Each pair has one panel with text and some illustrations and one panel with a larger illustration. They can all be loaned, or only some : please tick and initial each pair required overleaf. Value: We require to be indemnified against loss or damage whilst in your care. The value of the complete set is £2,500 for this purpose. It would similarly need to be covered for mailing both ways (using the mailer's insurance for that amount would be fine). If you need only some of the panels then for insurance purposes they would need covering for £50 each. Mailing: They will be sent in a secure container (and to be returned in the same). The estimated cost for mailing and insurance for the complete set to be sent to you and to be returned (i.e. out and back) is £25.00 each way including £10 insurance each way for £2,500 worth of cover (thus totalling £50.00 overall) (as at May 00 prices). That is using Parcel Force's 48 hour working day delivery : 0800-224466 for general cost information and 0800-884422 for arranging collection & payment. Other carriers can be used so long as the above conditions are met. If you only require certain panels, assume a weight of 500 grm each. If personal collection &/or return is possible, that is fine. Condition: There are no accompanying stands so each panel would need to be attached to a surface (there are velcro tabs on the back. Blutak will not be strong enough). No pins or other hole marks can be made on the panels. The loaned panels must be returned in the same condition as they are received. Copyright: The illustrations on the panels cannot be reproduced without written permission. Some of them are owned by other organisations.
