Wild Woods Bradford – Peace Textile Exhibition. The museum took part in the Brickbox 2016 event and set up a temporary exhibition of textiles in the space. Read more

Playing for Peace, an 2011 exhibition celebrating the role of sport in bringing together international communities. Read more
Peacebuilders was a 2011 project that saw the museum work with Leeds Metropolitan University to collection oral and video histories. Read more
A 2017 project the museum worked as a partner with Impressions Gallery to produce 'No Mans Land'. Young People Uncover Women’s Viewpoints of the First World War taking you on a journey through the lives of some amazing female photographers who worked during the First World War. Read more

A force for peace? The History of European Cooperation was a 2016 temporary exhibition. Read more
In 2017 the museum hosted temporary exhibition, 'Journeys'. A co-creation of art pieces by six artists from BIASAN (Bradford Immigration & Asylum Support & Advice Network), on themes such as migration, identity and refuge. Read more
This 2018 exhibition explores 1914-1918 from the perspective of German civilians, especially German women. It was created in partnership with University of Leeds, Arts and Humanities Research Council and Bent Architect. Read more
A 2018 temporary exhibition that explored the etiquette of the arms trade through drawings, gifts, and elements of her masquerade by artist Jill Gibbon. Read more
This 2018 exhibition depicted the experience of working as an independent artist in the Calais Jungle October 2015 – September 2016. Read more
Faith and Peace was a three year project ran by the museum that included a touring exhibition produced in collaboration with the Anglican Pacifist Fellowship. Read more
In 2019 the museum hosted 'Life, Peace and Nothing Else' which displayed artwork by 9 year old Iranian artist, Kimiya. Read more
In 2018 to mark the centenary of WW1 the museum produced an exhibition exploring post-war peace. Read more
In 2019 the museum hosted the exhibition 'Over the Fence... to the other side of the world' which explored the untold stories of Britain’s nuclear test veterans. Read more
2020 Exhibition: The Eye as Witness: Recording the Holocaust, from National Holocaust Centre and Museum and University of Nottingham, examines the photographs taken during the Holocaust and asks the question; through who’s eyes are we seeing the past? Read more
We teamed up with Bradford artist and facilitator Nancy Haslam-Chance and each week during lock down we shared a #StayHome activity based on objects from our collection with #PMCreativeChallenge. Read more
The Peace Museum has seven travelling exhibitions that are available for loan by an organisation/individual for the purposes of a short-term display. We do not charge for this service; however the borrower must cover postage and packaging costs. In addition, as the Museum is a charity, a donation which would cover staff time in arranging the loan would be most welcomed. Read more
