The Peace Museum held a free evening of poetry at Bradford's Bread + Roses from 6pm to 8pm on Thursday 30th September. This event was part of our Peace OUT project. Read more

The Peace Museum has seven travelling exhibitions that are available for loan by an organisation/individual for the purposes of a short-term display. We do not charge for this service; however the borrower must cover postage and packaging costs. In addition, as the Museum is a charity, a donation which would cover staff time in arranging the loan would be most welcomed. Read more

We have partnered with Remembering Resistance to create A Woman’s March Through Time – a chronicle of the story of women’s resistance through virtual reality. Read more
2020 Exhibition: The Eye as Witness: Recording the Holocaust, from National Holocaust Centre and Museum and University of Nottingham, examines the photographs taken during the Holocaust and asks the question; through who’s eyes are we seeing the past? Read more
In 2019 the museum hosted the exhibition 'Over the Fence... to the other side of the world' which explored the untold stories of Britain’s nuclear test veterans. Read more

In 2019 the museum hosted 'Life, Peace and Nothing Else' which displayed artwork by 9 year old Iranian artist, Kimiya. Read more
Peace OUT explores LGBTQ+ activism and peace and will feature newly acquired objects to the museum’s collection. Working with community partners, it will share the stories of those who have peacefully campaigned for LGBTQ+ rights and equality and explore the impact the LGBTQ+ community has had on peacemaking. As part of the Peace Out Exhibition, The Peace Museum present This Is Who I Am by ice&fire which presents first-hand accounts of LGBT+ people seeking asylum in the UK about their experiences in their own country and on arrival in the UK, addressing the particular challenges they face. These accounts are read by members of the Actors for Human Rights Network, an outreach project run by ice&fire who are a London based theatre company exploring human rights stories through performance. In 2018 the museum participated as a heritage partner on Peace Peace a project Emergency Exit Arts. Read more
In 2018 to mark the centenary of WW1 the museum produced an exhibition exploring post-war peace. Read more
Faith and Peace was a three year project ran by the museum that included a touring exhibition produced in collaboration with the Anglican Pacifist Fellowship. Read more
The Cell Block was a travelling exhibition created by English Heritage as part of their Heritage Lottery funded project to conserve and uncover the stories of the graffiti at the 19th century Richmond Castle, cell block. Read more
