Defining Peace - Have your say

Welcome to Defining Peace! Our newest exhibition is on display at Kala Sangam in Bradford until the 24th of July, and is free for anyone to visit during Kala Sangam's regular opening times (9am – 5pm Mon to Fri & 9am – 2pm Sat).

However, we know that not everyone will be able to visit the exhibition in person, and we wanted to make sure you had the chance to have your say wherever you are. The video below will take you through some of the themes of the exhibition, showing the objects we’ve included along the way, and reflect on the question “what is peace?”. Underneath the video, you’ll have a chance to let us know what peace means to you, and have your thoughts added to the page.

Have your say

Click this button to leave your comment about what peace means to you, and our team will add it to the quotes below. Peace can show up in any area of our lives, so there are no wrong answers!

    Protest and accessibility

One of the objects in our new Defining Peace exhibition is a hard hat, which was used by a protestor in place of a placard as they were unable to carry one. For this month’s blog post we wanted to look at the challenges faced by disabled protestors, and how such an important form of campaigning might be made more accessible.
