Education

One of the ways that we tell the stories of peace and help to inspire future generations of peacemakers, is through our education programme.
We provide low-cost school workshops on a range of topics for KS1, KS2 and KS3 students. We also deliver our Choices workshops to participants from Key Stages 2 – 4 (Year 5 to 11) through to FE & HE students, as well as community groups, PRU’s, teacher and parent groups.

School Programme
The objective of our school workshops is to inspire pupils to think about peace and peace making. The practical and cross-curricular workshops also include the opportunity for pupils to handle Museum objects. Sessions are available for KS1, KS2 and KS3.
Choices
Our Safe Online and Propaganda: Past and Present workshops are designed to explore the challenges presented by extremism and help participants work together to find peaceful solutions. Available for KS2 – 4, FE & HE students, as well as community groups, PRU’s, teacher and parent groups.

Please note – while the museum is closed to the public, we are not able to deliver our education sessions at the museum. Until we reopen in summer 2024, all workshops will be delivered in schools.
