Closure Update

September 23, 202011:43 amOctober 1, 2023 11:44 am

The Peace Museum closed in March 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. We have taken the decision to remain closed for the rest of 2020 in the interests of staff and visitor safety. We will provide an update in January 2021 on our plans for reopening.

Despite the closure, we want to reassure our supporters and visitors that whilst our galleries may be closed our team continue to work and plan for the future of the museum. Our focus is to relocate into visible, spacious and accessible premises so we can continue to expand our work. We will be releasing digital content and exhibitions on our new website and adding to our digital exhibition Peace and Pandemic.

We would love to get involved in projects and partnerships that mean our unique and inspiring collection can continue to be seen and used as inspiration for peace making. We are still continuing our school programme with outreach visits taking place in classrooms, or as digital sessions. Please get in touch with our team to discuss any ideas you may have to work with us.

Thank you for your continued support,

The Peace Museum Team.
