We’re hiring a Casual Learning Assistant!

We are recruiting a Learning Assistant to deliver, and support delivery, of The Peace Museum’s school programme in the museum and outreach visits in school.

We are looking for someone to work with us on a casual basis to support our Learning and Engagement Officer. The main duty of the role is to deliver already established education workshops as part of The Peace Museum’s school programme, either in the museum, or as outreach sessions in school for pupils in Key Stages 1, 2 and 3. The museum is currently closed whilst we plan for a new premises move, so for the foreseeable future all sessions will be delivered as outreach in schools.

Paid training under the Learning and Engagement Officer will be provided as part of this role, in order to be able to deliver the sessions independently.

Hours allocated as required on a casual basis. The role will mainly be weekdays during the academic year, however it may also include additional hours to support the delivery of other engagement and outreach events throughout the year. These will be agreed in advance.
