Defining Peace

From 10 May to Fri 29 Jul 2022, we held an exhibition at Kala Sangam in Bradford, which asked the question “what is peace?”.

Peace means something different to everybody, and the ways that people work to create a more peaceful world are also just as varied. As well as exploring the history of peacemaking through some of the museum’s collections, visitors were able to add to the exhibition with their ideas about peace – what it means to them, and what it means to Bradford in 2022.
