Paper Peace by Emergency Exit Arts
We are very pleased to be heritage partners on Paper Peace a project by Emergency Exit Arts which aims to shed light on the legacy of treaties, the fragile nature of peace and the strength of the communities and individuals who work to sustain it. Emergency Exit Arts were founded in 1980 and began as “an artists’ collective born out of a desire to radically transform the ordinary into the extraordinary”.
As part of this project, a 14ft high illuminated Peace Poem by artist and poet Robert Montgomery is on a national tour to commemorate 100 years since the first day of peace after WWI.
